BFIT – Baba Farid Institute of Technology is one of the oldest and the most prestigious institutes in Dehradun. It was established under the aegis of Kartar Educational & Cultural Society in 2002. About the School of Life & Allied Sciences

Science is one of the important aspects of learning from the very beginning of our education. It helps us in logical thinking and understanding the world around us. It’s one of those branches of learning which can help to make our life brighter and better living. It is based on research both in academic and nonacademic institutions but not confined to academicians only. The Institute offers various programs under the School of life and allied Sciences. These programs are currently semester based on CBCS pattern. The programs offer a vast array of options pertaining to such subject combinations at graduate level and individual subjects at post graduate level which can be selected in line with interest and eligibility of the students. The programs syllabus includes comprehensive study of subject with basic concepts, recent advances, and assignments/projects for applied knowledge, skill development and independent thinking. The programs offered are B. Sc. (PCM/PMG/PMS/ZBC/ZBG/MICRO/BIOTECH), M.Sc. (Botany, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Geology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology).

THEME OF THE CONFERENCE

The International Conference on Emerging Sciences and Technology (ICEST-2022), which is scheduled to be held on the 21th and 22th of January 2022. It is themed around the numerous outstanding results and new difficulties in the applied sciences. This event aim to draw together researcher, specialists, designers and students in all fields of Applied Sciences and provides a global panel for the dissemination of primary study conclusions, new approaches and developmental practices that focus on both principles and application.
