Bsc Forestry Eligibility

  • The students who have passed 10+2 or senior secondary examination with subjects like Maths/Biology/Agriculture from any recognized board.
  • Minimum percentage required is 45% for GEN/OBC and 40% for ST/SC.

B.Sc Forestry Scope in India

There are ample number of job opportunities for a forestry graduate and the candidate can work as a government employee in the following sectors-

  • Zoological parks- These parks play a vital role when it comes to wildlife conservation. Foresters having an in-depth knowledge about the forest resources including wildlife are considered as an asset to these zoological parks.

  • Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education- This independent organization conducts forestry related research and also impart knowledge based on that.
