B.Sc Food Technology is an undergraduate program of 3 years duration. India is a rapidly progressing country with millions of people working for long hours and in hectic work schedules. There is a growing awareness of factors like quality, safety and nutrition of food.
This course basically is the amalgamation of engineering, food science, hotel management, and home science. It is affiliated with SDSU which is a well-known university that affiliates with many other colleges.
A Food technologist works for the development of new methods of manufacturing and preserving food to keep it safe, hygienic, enhance colors, flavor and resistance from the natural harms like microorganism and toxins. Science like chemistry, biology, engineering, nutrition and microbiology is used in food technology to make the food safer and available throughout the year in case of seasonal food.

Admission in Under Graduate Course- B.Sc Food Tecnology is based on Percentage of the XII standard / AIBFEE Exam / GD-PI.
Minimum qualification required is 12th from any recognized board.
Minimum percentage required is 45% for GEN/OBC and 40% for SC/ST.
Candidates have various job opportunities after graduating. They can work in both sectors i.e. government and private.
